Visitor Info

Gifford Community Woodland is 22 hectares (55 acres). There is an information sign at the entrance to the woodland displaying a map of the woods.

Please park in the village and walk to the woods

All visitors to the woods must park in Gifford Village centre, which is just a 5-10 minute walk away. We respectfully ask that you do not park anywhere on the track by the woods, or the nearby roads leading to the woods. We are doing our best to ensure that the activities of the Gifford Community Woodland do not cause frustration for local residents. Thank you for your consideration.

Grazing animals

There are no grazing animals in the woodland.

Walking trails

The site is mostly level with all-ability paths cut between the trees and benches every 300 metres.

Open access

Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
